I hit a bat!
Okay, news of the slightly off kilter: I ran into a bat tonight on the way home from work. Bang! Smack into the windshield. And I smacked a young robin a couple of months ago. I checked; there isn't a big target on the glass. So wth is going on with this one? I mean, a bat???

Oh! That is so sad. How off was that little guy's radar?
You scared me for a minute that you had run into it without the disease-saving barrier of a windshield. That would've been scary!
I feel sorry for the critter, but maybe it was sick. They're usually more agile than that.
Yeah, bat's usually manage to avoid the cars because of their echo location thingy. I figured they must be sick.
I know, the whole rabies thing is scary. I think maybe one person has been recorded to recover once symptoms onset. Rabies is fatal, which is why you get the shots immediately, like it or not.
Sick, maybe.
Or just old.
